Workbench

Workbenches are a gameplay mechanic in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and places where players can have Rocket craft Perks that will improve Star-Lord's equipment and improve his chances in combat. Each requires specific Components to craft.

Overview

Workbenches can be found throughout the game. There is one on the Milano, while others are spread throughout the levels. Since one cannot freely travel between the Milano and the worlds visited, it is recommended to upgrade whenever a Workbench is found. While many can be found easily, others have a tendency to blend in with the rest of the environment.

To use a Workbench, one can be activated by holding △ (PS) or Y (Xbox) or E (PC). Rocket will jump up and a list of all Perks and their required Components will be displayed. Perks already unlocked will be shown in cyan, the ones that are able to be crafted in gray, and Perks that lack the necessary Components to craft will appear red. Once the player decides what perk(s) they want to craft, one can simply hover over it and hold X (PS) or A (Xbox) or the left mouse button (PC).
