The Trion Shard is a powerful and evil item mentioned in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. It is said to be a object that corrupts those that come into contact with it.
Description[]
An item of dubious existence, the Trion Shard is a pyramid-shaped object of pure evil, apparently divided into pieces, that is capable of corrupting everything that comes in contact with it. During the Galactic War, rumors went around that Thanos the Mad Titan had obtained the Shard; however, his daughter Gamora Zen-Whoberi had never heard of such a thing.
Gameplay[]
The Trion Shard is mentioned by Rocket when he, Peter Quill and Groot are exploring the Quarantine Zone during Chapter 1: A Risky Gamble.

- In the comics, there are three shards that were created in reaction to extradimensional gods known as the Trion casting off an evil presence into the universe.
