Thor is a mentioned-only character in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Hailing from the mythical Asgard, he is the God of Thunder and owner of Mjolnir.
Background[]
Little is known about Thor. The Asgardian God of Thunder, he is known for being in possession of a mighty hammer called Mjolnir. He also has a goat, who chipped off a tiny piece of his hammer; the sliver turned into Frogjolnir and ended up in the possession of Throg, who—granted powers identical to Thor himself—became one of several Gods of Thunder.
Gameplay[]
Thor does not make an appearance in-game, but he is mentioned in Taneleer Tivan's descriptions of Frogjolnir and, indirectly, of Throg. Both can be seen on display at his Collector's Emporium, which is an optional visit during Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
Trivia[]
- As with many other continuities, he presumably is a member of the Avengers, and likely to be half-brother to Aldrif Odinsdottir, or Angela for short.
- In the comics, Thor has two goats: Toothgnasher (the one who made Frogjolnir) and Toothgrinder, otherwise known as Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, respectively.
