Gameplay[]

The Guardians fly to the Rock in Chapter 5: Due or Die to meet with the Hala's Hope and Ko-Rel to pay the fine they received in Chapter 2: Busted. Three archives can be found while exploring the spacestation: "The Golden Force" by Nova Centurion Kar-Los, as well as Elevator A23 and Memo: Suit Protocol by Maintenance Chief Dugar.

The Cold Case File item can be found near a control panel. Relevant for a conversation with Groot as a Guardian Collectible. Also, the Nova Corps outfits for Drax (restroom in front of a stall) and Groot (near a forklift) can be obtained.

THE ROCK

Built into the side of a large asteroid in the Tayo system, the Rock is a primary Nova Corps station tasked with overseeing all peacekeeping operations for a dozen sectors. It is a deep space extension of New Xandar, allowing consultation and diplomacy with the Worldmind as well as serving as a dispatch for Nova Corps operations. Thousands of Nova Corps workers live within the Rock and help to maintain the station, oversee more business-related tasks, and provide law enforcement.

After the Galactic War left Nova Corps in ruins, reconstruction efforts focused simultaneously on New Xandar and the Rock. The Worldmind believed that the Corps could not remain on the defensive, but would need to extend their presence back into the galaxy at large.
