The Blood Brothers are boss enemies in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Garek and Rosson Blood are brutal bounty hunters sent by Lady Hellbender to hunt down the Guardians. They fight the player at the end of Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place.

Strategy

Their Tactical Scan description is the same, except for the last line: "Separate from brother to disable armor. Capitalize on damage while armor disabled. Hot tempered. Could be baited into stompting. (Garek) / Could be baited into charging. (Rosson)"

The strength of the duo is their body armor, that is solid if the two are close together. At the beginning of this fight, Star-Lord is alone in a brain matter maze with the Guardians split up after tensions. Shooting at the brothers is futile and their punches will bring Peter down easily and eat up his health.

During this stage, the player should run away, avoiding them. As soon as they start to begin their jump attack, Peter should use the Jet Boots to get away. By doing that a few times, Peter will begin to yield and try some further talking. Gamora suddenly will strike and explain they lose their armor advantage if separated, so one must try now to keep them apart and fire at them to bring their health down.

Finally, Drax also join in after a few rounds. A cinematic follows and further fighting. When one of the Blood Brothers is down, Peter's senses will phase out and the scene will turn to black, signalling victory. Defeating them earns the player the "Family Intervention" achievement.
