Spartax is a mentioned-only location in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The capital planet of the Spartoi Empire, it has lost a lot of its former glory and power. It is inhabitanted by a race known as the Spartoi.

Spartax is famous for its highly advanced technology. However, during Galactic War, Spartax itself was being ransacked because of the fame of its technology, and Peter Quill, who is the offspring of emperor J'Son, was kidnapped by Chitauri Empire from Earth and held as hostage.
