The following is a list of outfits for Rocket in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Outfits[]
Name | Image | Description | Acquisition |
---|---|---|---|
Standard Outfit | ![]() |
The secret to any great outfit is hidden pockets. The more pockets you can hide, the more hidden pockets you have to hide the other stuff that needs hidin'. And I ain't just talkin' about smugglin', neither. This jumpsuit can pack in an entire arsenal of explosives. It may or may not use stolen shrink ray technology. | Default |

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) | ![]() |
Quill won't ever shut up about his stupid "movies" from when he was a kid. I swear, we could be the richest, most successful crew in the galaxy and it still wouldn't make him as happy as if they made one of them movies about us. He says my character should wear a brighter orange. I mean, I look good in any color, but why bright orange? Bright orange is what they make criminals wear. Oh. That's fair. |
Chapter 1: A Risky Gamble |
Inspired by Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) | |||
Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse | ![]() |
I know I don't say it a lot, but everybody on this team is a powerhouse. Like crazy-skilled at what they do. So why ain't we swimmin' in units? It would be so easy to go the other way. Take what we want. Frag anybody that gets in our way. What would that look like? I ain't seriously considerin' nothin'. I'm just sick of bein' poor. | Chapter 4: The Monster Queen |
First appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy #8 (May 2015) (Age of Apocalypse Variant) Writer: Brian Michael Bendis Artists: Valerio Schiti, Richard Isanove Cover Artists: Dale Keown, Arthur Adams, Jason Keith Editor: Kathleen Wisneski, Jake Thomas, Nick Lowe | |||
Nova Corps | ![]() |
This suit's from a job that was doomed from the start, which is probably why it never even started. I got a lotta flack for "shoddy" black market Nova Corps uniforms, but you can't tell the difference if you don't look too close. Sometimes I like to put mine on to prank the Destroyer. He falls for it every flarkin' time. | Chapter 7: Canine Confusion |
Original design by Eidos Montréal for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (2021) | |||
Hero of Halfworld | ![]() |
Back when we were stuck in our pens on Halfworld, I used to calm the other animals by makin' up rebellion stories about takin' down the Kree scutbags. The hero, who may or may not have looked exactly like me, was a dashin' swashbuckler wearing bright green and a killer smirk. Wish I coulda been that guy for them. | Chapter 10: Test of Faith |
First appeared in Rocket Raccoon #1 (1985) Writer: Bill Mantlo Artists: Mike Mignola, Al Gordon, Christie Scheele Cover Artists: Mike Mignola, Al Gordon Editor: Kathleen Wisneski, Jake Thomas, Nick Lowe | |||
The Smuggler | ![]() |
If you want to get the big payout smugglin' jobs on Knowhere, you can't go in lookin' too fancy or too scrubby. Can't look like a gun for hire, neither. Gotta find that comfortable middle grund that says, "I ain't gonna lose my cool if Nova Corps pops up on my screen." This is that suit. | Chapter 12: Knowhere To Run |
First appeared in All-New Guardians of the Galaxy #1 (2017) Writer: Gerry Duggan Artists: Aaron Kuder, Ive Svorcina Cover Artist: Aaron Kuder Editors: Darren Shan, Kathleen Wisneski, Jordan D. White | |||
The Stinger | ![]() |
A man's gotta have two suits--one for business and one for action. This sweet, sweet number is my action suit. If you wanna get the best contracts, you gotta dress the part, and I clean up real nice. I slip this baby on and start talkin' with my goodest words, the clients melt in front of me. Bam! Stung! Rocket style. | Chapter 13: Against All Odds, or pre-order bonus early unlock[1] |
First appeared in Rocket #1 (2017) Writer: Al Ewing Artists: Adam Gorham, Michael Garland Cover Artist: Mike Mayhew Editor: Darren Shan, Kathleen Wisneski, Jordan D. White | |||
Golden Guardians | ![]() |
Got an old buddy on Knowhere who owned me a favour, or maybe I owed him a favor, neither of us can remember, but he agreed to give me a goo--an oka--a not-terrible deal on the design for our new team uniforms. And boy, did he deliver. Of course, mine has all the bells and whistles, only replace bells and whistles with self-regulatin' coolant systems and aim enhancers. Flark yes. | Automatically unlocked for Chapter 14: Into The Fire |
Original design by R.B. Silva for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (2021) |

Trivia[]
- The Hero of Halfworld outfit, inspired by the 1985 comic Rocket Raccoon by Rocket's co-creator Bill Mantlo, was chosen because of its timelessness. It isn't the only tribute in the game to the Marvel writer,[2] also being the namesake for Mantlo's Bar.
- While the team's Age of Apocalypse looks only appeared on a variant cover for the 2016 event Apocalypse Wars, they were chosen because they were very "striking".[2]
