Photo Mode

Photo Mode is a game feature in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a special mode that pauses the game and offers players the possibility to edit it lightly before snapping a screenshot.

Overview

To activate Photo Mode in the game, players can press both analog sticks (L3 + R3 in PlayStation, ?? in Xbox, ?? in PC) and the action will freeze, allowing one to move the camera around and get the perfect angle. Alternatively, one can press the Menu button and then select Photo Mode.

This will pause the game and allow the player to fiddle with a variety of options. One can pick a filter to change the overall look of the screenshot, or fiddle with the angle and depth of field to get the perfect shot, or even choose from a selection of poses and facial expressions for the characters in the shot. Finally, one can hide all UI elements, then hit the screenshot button to snap it. It will be saved to their device gallery, which can then be exported or shared.

Gallery

Place the character and add one of the available expressions. Scene all zoomed out.

Place an overlay and add the desired character.
