Paramatar is a mentioned-only location in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Story[]
Little is known about Paramatar, only that it has a nice, "dry" forest.[1] At some point in the last year, 7800—7801,[2] the Guardians of the Galaxy visited the planet, where they were ambushed by hatchet-wielding goons who were as they wanted to claim the bounty that Yondu Udonta put on Peter Quill. During the encounter, Rocket seemingly saved Peter from said goons, as he was unwilling to sell one of their own.[1]
Gameplay[]
Paramatar is mentioned three times in-game, all three in Chapter 3: The Cost of Freedom. After the Guardians are fined by Ko-Rel for their stunt in the Quarantine Zone, Rocket brings this event up that he should be charging Peter for all the times he and Groot bailed Peter out. Later on, Groot mentions its forest in contrast to that of Seknarf Nine, and subsequently they briefly reminisce about the incident.
