Otroogi are creatures in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Large hervibores with prehensile tubes and horned limbs that originate from Seknarf Nine, they are part of Lady Hellbender's sanctuary.

Otroogi are strange quadrupedal beasts with a rhinoceros-like flat horn on their forehead and long upward extensions coming from all four limbs. Their skin is light gray mostly, with black stripes on their backs; marble-patterned yellow, blue and pink stripes cover their shoulder blades and femurs. It seems as if the creature's entrails are slung around the lower half.
They are herbivores, using their their shoulder blades to pinch and clip the tallest branches. During adulthood, they are as tall as the treeline of Seknarf Nine.
Gameplay[]
Otroogis can be seen grazing under Lady Hellbender's Fortress and in her personal zoo in a cage, should Peter Quill choose to sell Groot to the Monster Queen, during Chapter 3: The Cost of Freedom.

The Otroogi is one of Seknarf Nine's largest beasts, capable of growing as tall as the treeline itself. Unfortunately, the former ruler-priests slaughtered the largest of the herd to build ritual structures with their gargantuan bones. The fiercely protected otroogi that remain on the planet are adolescents and will not reach their full size for thousands of rotations.
The Otroogi uses its sturdy shoulder blades to pinch and clip the tallest branches, depositing various fruits onto its flat back. Its prehensile tubes reach up, sort through its food, and then deliver it to its mouth. The flat horn on an otroogi's skull and its deadly claws are used exclusively for defense. It is a herbivore.
