Nova Helmets are items in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. They are a fundamental part of a Nova Corpsman's uniform, connected to the Worldmind.

Gameplay[]
During Chapter 5: Due or Die, the Guardians find an abandoned helmet on the ground while exploring the Rock's Communications Room. If Peter chooses to ask something, they will be immediately attacked by converted Nova Corpsmen.
A particular helmet, which once belonged to Richard Rider, is now part of the Collector's Emporium owned by Taneleer Tivan. It can be seen during Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place.

Richard Rider. Leader of the Galactic War Resistance and hero to countless races. The man so embodies Nova Corps that he rebuilt it from its ashes and chose Nova as his own moniker. Typically, I do not associate with law enforcement, but this relic was donated by Rider himself, just prior to his disappearance. You see before you his original helmet, which has a direct connection to the Xanadarian Worldmind. Rider claimed he upgraded to a new helmet with its own Nova Force reactor to make the Worldmind "shut up." I think he enjoyed the idea of them "blabbing away in some stupid museum." Delightful.
