Little Meninges is a common item in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. This Collectible, meant for Gamora, is sold in Taneleer Tivan's Emporium.

Gameplay

Before their arrival on Knowhere, the players can sneak up on Gamora looking at a purchase site for dolls in the cockpit's screen. She will quickly switch off the screen as soon as she realises Peter's presence. Peter then can ask her more about it or leave it at that.

Later on, the player can buy this doll in Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place for 2000 ₳ from the Collector's Emporium gift shop. If so, it will show up later on the Milano in Gamora's room. Interacting with the doll on the Milano will begin a conversation with Gamora about her childhood with Thanos or meeting Mantis. After speaking, its Galactic Compendium entry is unlocked.

COLLECTOR'S EMPORIUM DOLL

Little Meninges is a floppy child's doll and souvenir made from the tanned membranous coverings of Knowhere's brain. It is scented with Seknarfian wineberry extract to mask the pungent odor. Many children have reported Little Meninges as being "alive," because it tends to move slightly over time, but scientists believe this is due to the residual psychic power of the dead Celestial. Either way, kids love the product and the Tivan Corporation is consistently out of stock.

Trivia

• The doll itself, and Gamora's hobby, are a reference to Marvel Holiday Special '92, where Thanos gives a young Gamora a baby doll for Christmas.
• In the dialogue string about how they met Mantis, there is an reference to The Shining. Peter mentions that when he first saw Mantis do the antennae thing, he expected her to start chanting "redrum, redrum", but Gamora doesn't understand the reference.
