The Kyln is a mentioned-only location in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. It is a maximum-security penal facility well-known for the risks it poses to prisoner health and safety. Drax is a former inmate.

The Kyln is mentioned many times throughout the game. The earliest is Peter wondering when inspecting Drax's room on the Milano, wondering what his cell was like. Another significant one is in Chapter 12: Knowhere To Run, when they think up possible supporters to their cause; Rocket suggests Yondu, but he still is imprisioned in the Kyln and Gamora volunteers to break him out.
