Knowhere is an independent spaceport on the edge of the known universe in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The station was built inside the giant head of a Celestial in close proximity to The Rift, and is a port where various species, travellers, misfits, smugglers and more meet. Locals are called "Knowbodies".

Points of interest include: Seer's Square, Mantlo's Bar, Cosmo Tower, the Continuum Cortex, Collector's Emporium, Knowhere Lottery machines, the Spirit Tree, etc.
The place has wormhole waste receptacle for keeping Knowhere clean (and warn not to stick appendages in the can) and art commissioned by the Tivan Group, such as "Deft Hands".
Gameplay[]
Knowhere plays a major role in the story, appearing in Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place, Chapter 7: Canine Confusion, and Chapter 12: Knowhere To Run. During Chapter 6, it serves as a hub for the players to simply explore, although a boss fight will occur; later on, it is overrun by the Universal Church of Truth and becomes a battleground for the team to navigate.
Many a Galactic Compendium entry can be unlocked here. Of note are the missable Lipless and Skrat entries, and the miscellaneous items that can be purchased by spending units.
Regarding archives, players can find Overhead, three Egghead Reviews, "Nothing", Reply: Missing Persons Report, Investigating the Hand, Knowhere Safe, Work-Related Death Report and A Prophetic Convergence. One can also obtain two Collectible items here, the Collector's Emporium Doll and Glarnot Mask. Peter can find the following costumes: Peter's Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) outfit, Thanos Imperative, The Smuggler, Impaler, Casual Kill and Apocalypse-Lord.

The last spaceport on the edge of the known universe, Knowhere drifts precariously along the edge of the Rift.
Long before it was a bustling city, it was a nameless research station built inside the gigantic, severed head of one of the godlike Celestials. Research quickly turned to profit as various illegal mining operations set up to harvest the potent brain matter. The commercial side of Knowhere sprang up to feed and service the researchers-turned-miners. Food supplies became a plethora of market kiosks, offering cuisine from every corner of the galaxy. Shelters became brothels and bars. Many soon traded their mining tools for untraceable firearms as they moved toward back-alley deals, assassination contracts, and smuggling operations.
The station's head of security, Cosmo, maintains a loose kind of order, keeping the various criminal factions from tearing the place apart, while allowing them their questionable operations so businesses can continue. Knowhere sits outside the jurisdiction of Nova Corps and remains neutral in galactic conflicts.
