Jackogel are common enemies in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Once the outer substance is gone, the inner core will send out it's spikes to pierce opponents. Whenever it is possible for Peter Quill, he should try to freeze the cubes with the Element Guns.
The Dweller-in-Darkness can release these from his head during battle.
