Jack Harrison, who goes by the moniker Jack Flag, is a supporting character in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. When the Guardians enter the Hala's Hope, Jack Flag can be found in a cell. Peter Quill can interact with him, but helping Jack out doesn't work out as expected.
Background[]
Jack Harrison became a superhero on Earth where he would join the group Stars and Stripes . During his time with the group Jack would adopt the alias Jack Flag and hone his skill in martial arts . He would also allegedly become associated with Captain America and by extension an ally of the Avengers . At some point under unknown circumstances Jack would leave Earth eventually ending up on Contraxia . Whilst on Contraxia Jack would conduct an elaborate extortion scheme which involved using a "shoddy costume" and second rate brothel to pose as a Nova Corpsmen . He was arrested by Nova Corps for impersonating an officer . He was interrogated numerous times by the WorldMind while imprisoned during which he lied about his reasons for being in space One story claimed he was the victim of a dimensional travelling accident. Jack would later claim that he was on a top secret mission to save the entire Universe . Jack would beg Nova Corps to contact Captain America who he said would vouch for one of his stories . He was eventually placed on the rock as seemingly its sole prisoner

Gameplay[]
While exploring The Rock during Chapter 5: Due or Die, there is an optional room that contains Jack's prison cell; finding himself completely alone, he asks the Guardians to free him. If the player agrees, the cell is accidentally transported to another location. Looking out of the window later in the chapter, the team sees Jack in his cell floating through space. In Chapter 12: Knowhere To Run, one can interact with the Milano's viewport to spot Jack's cell again.

The self-described "hero," Jack Flag, hails from Earth. There, he trained vigorously with a group of problem-solvers called Stars and Stripes to hone his martial arts.
Flag was recently arrested on Contraxia for impersonating a Nova Corpsmen, which involved a shoddy costume, a second-rate brothel, and an elaborate extortion scheme. His story about how he got there changes every time he's interviewed, ranging from dimensional travel to a top-secret mission to save the entire universe. The Worldmind's lie detectors have never beeped so much. Flag has begged Nova Corps to contact "the Captain" multiple times, who he claims will vouch for at least one of his stories.

Harrison was arrested for impersonating a Nova Corps Centurion, resulting in the generation of this file. Since his arrest, however, all communication with The Rock, the Nova facility where he is being detained, has been severed.
AFFILIATIONS: UnknownTrivia[]
- According to Bruno Gaulthier-Leblanc, they wanted someone in the jail cells on the Rock. Originally it was just a generic character, but it felt like a perfect opportunity for an easter egg,[2] so they included Jack, who in the comics has been a Guardian and met Peter in a prison.
