Hovat is a supporting character in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. She is the late wife of Drax. She and their daughter Kamaria died when Thanos attacked Katath and destroyed Drax's village during the Galactic War.

Hovat was described by Drax as fearless and that her warm nature brought him peace even during times of war.
Gameplay[]
Players can meet Hovat and Kamaria in Drax's mind during Chapter 11: Mind Over Matter due to an illusion created by the Matriarch. However, they are also mentioned a few times when Drax talks about his past.
Records[]
Few Katathian records survived the Galactic War, and fewer still from its remote villages like Lugradus, where Drax the Destroyer, his wife Hovat, and their daughter Kamaria lived. It is known that Hovat was on the village council, earned through her combat prowess, and that Kamaria was fast becoming a skilled hunter, even at her tender age. While Drax was off-planet with a Katathian fleet, Thanos invaded Katath and destroyed most of its population, including the entirety of Lugradus.
