Glah-Ree, also known by his pseudonym of Captain Glory, is a supporting antagonist in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. A rogue Kree who defected during the Galactic War, Glah-Ree is the leader of a band of mercenaries known as the Lethal Legion.

Gameplay

Due to the events in Chapter 4: The Monster Queen, Glah-Ree meets the Guardians in a space fight during Chapter 9: Desperate Times. The player controls the Milano and must destroy the Legion's ship, upon which Glah-Ree will join the fight. Every time his vessel is damaged, he will release a row of mines and change position by teleporting. The player should avoid damage as much as possible and locate the ship again to resume the attack, by targeting his ship's weak spots.

CAPTAIN GLORY

Captain Glory (Glah-Ree) is the proud leader of the Lethal Legion, a band of super-powered mercenaries. Operating from an eclectic spaceport on the fringes of the galaxy, the Legion takes on high-profile bounty hunting contracts. Their latest client? Lady Hellbender, a powerful monster collector with funds and spite in equal amounts.

Pure blood is a mark of status in certain xenophobic circles of Kree society, thus Captain Glory believes himself superior to every other race in the galaxy, including his own teammates. However, defeat at the hands of a supposedly lesser civilization during the Galactic War has forced Glory to reframe his perspective. His crew may be low-bred, but they are all superior fighters, the best one can find outside the Kree Empire. He is content to surround himself with those who will help him achieve greatness.

• When the player destroy all the small ships and Glah-Ree enters the fray, he says something like "So you defeated my fighters. But my cruiser will crush you!" This dialogue is inspired by the ColecoVision game Space Fury. This 1981 arcade game appears in Peter Quill's room at the Quill Farm.
