An Exolon is a mentioned-only creature in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. They are parasitic lifeforms of unknown origin connected to the Nameless, with one such bonded to Zak-Del.
Story[]
Little is known about the Exolon race. Their history is closely connected to the Kree; bonding with them has led to the emergence of a Kree subspecies called the Nameless. Presumably, and given the Kree's penchant for racial purity, this group has been shunned from society. One member of this group is the vigilante Zak-Del, also known as "Wraith".
At some point in the past, an unknown individual smuggled an Exolon to a planet called Inaku B. Apparently deemed a biohazard, the entire planet was scorched because of it.
In 7801,[2] when the Guardians of the Galaxy are caught red-handed in the Nova Corps-restricted Quarantine Zone by the patrol ship Hala's Hope, Gamora Zen-Whoberi cites the Inaku B incident with the Exolon as an example of how grave their team's potential biohazard is, in addition that it could land them in the Kyln.
Traits[]
The Exolon are symbiotes capable of bonding with the Kree species, and their bond grants their host certain enhanced abilities. What such powers entail remains unknown, although the Worldmind judges these individuals to be a "potential threat" (Zak-Del, in particular, has been described as a galactic-level threat).
Gameplay[]
No Exolons appear in the game; however, they are mentioned in passing at the beginning of Chapter 2: Busted by Gamora, citing the aforementioned incident on Inaku B, and in Zak-Del's Nexus criminal file during Chapter 7: Canine Confusion.
