Earth is a location in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. It is the third planet in the Sol system, home to the human race. Earth orbits around the Sun, and has only one permanent natural satellite, the Moon.

Earth is considered to be somewhat primitive compared to other civilisations in the universe as Humans are rather weak and frail compared to most species and their technological developments significantly less advanced than most species . Earth is also notable for lacking the resources for long distance interstellar travel only able to reach the moon orbiting the planet .
Gameplay[]
During the game, the Earth is not visited by the Guardians. It is, however, the setting for Peter Quill's flashbacks to his thirteenth birthday during Prologue: Meredith, Chapter 3: The Cost of Freedom and Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
