Dazzler is a cameo character in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. She is a mutant and music star from planet Earth who has gone on at least one concert tour, X My Heart and Hope to Fly.

Gameplay

In Peter Quill's room on the Milano, players can find a poster of her. Upon inspection with his Visor, the game opens a window with the following information: "Promotional poster for the Terran mutant music star, Dazzler. From the "X My Heart and Hope to Fly" tour."

Trivia

• Dazzler's cameo was Bruno Gauthier-Leblanc's idea, who is a big X-Men fan and collected the comic books back in the '80s and '90s. When looking for easter eggs to put in Peter's quarters, he thought of her because she is an intergalactic star. It is also a little nod to Peter's past—both being from Earth—so it made sense that he would know about her. There was some discussion over whether to use a different character but Marvel agreed to her inclusion.
• The poster might be a reimagination of this panel from her debut in X-Men #130.
• The name of Dazzler's tour is a reference to the 2010 song "Cross My Heart & Hope To Fly" by The Courteeners.
• Another featured Marvel musician is rockstar Lila Cheney.
