COMMON BARBWING
The Seknarfian common barbwing wears its entire digestive system on the outside. Its stomach extends along the entire length of its underbelly and is covered in tiny, fanged feeding-sphincters. Using its taloned wings and its impressive pinchers, it traps its prey, wrapping its entire body around the other animal to eat.
Because it seeks exposed flesh, it is typical for a barbwing to target a person's face and neck. Seknarfian locals know that when they encounter an attack of this nature, it's often more humane to just shoot the victim.
