Chapter 6: Between a Rock and a Hard Place is the sixth of sixteen chapters in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The tensions are rising between the team members and Rocket and Groot go their own way on Knowhere. Peter Quill must find Cosmo to inform him about the approaching danger.
Summary[]
The group arrives on Knowhere to warn Cosmo about the Nova Corps cultists, but Rocket and Groot abandon the group over their arguments on the Rock. Quill, Gamora, and Drax make their way to Cosmo's on their own, briefly running into a telepathic seer named Mantis and two bounty hunters sent by Lady Hellbender. Their fight with the latter pair is interrupted by Cosmo, who psychically imprisons Quill's group alongside Rocket and Groot, who apparently tried to trespass deeper into Knowhere.

Walkthrough[]
After meeting Mantis in the Seer's Square, Peter will arrive at Mantlo's Bar, where the player can trigger an event involving Groot and Rocket by looking through the window. Going inside will start a missable cutscene involving Lipless, and for the prize of embarrassing himself and do as Lipless says—sing along their friendship song "Storm Riders"—, Peter will earn a Collector's Emporium Ticket for free. Otherwise, the player must pay ₳ 5000 to see the exhibition. During the scene, Rocket and Groot will leave and, shortly after, Gamora and Drax do. Peter can explore the buzzling station alone from this point before moving on to Cosmo's Security Tower. The jounery is filled with temptations, with the game giving Peter the possiblity to spend all of the units procured during the previous chapter. (Depending on the choices this is ₳ 7000, ₳ 8000, or even ₳ 9000.)
