Centauri-IV is a planet and mentioned-only location in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Home planet to the Centaurian race, it is the birthplace of Yondu Udonta and Samaya.
Story[]
Little is known about the planet. During the Galactic War, it is unknown if it was attacked at some point by the Chitauri Empire or Thanos' army, but it became involved in the military conflict. A group known as the Centaurian Shadows joined Richard Rider's Resistance movement to fight back against the Chitauri.
Gameplay[]
In the game, the planet is only mentioned in the Nova Corps' Nexus files as the place of origin for Samaya and Yondu Udonta, which the Guardians can read while exploring the Hala's Hope during Chapter 7: Canine Confusion.
Trivia[]
- In the comics, Centauri-IV is said to be the fourth planet in the trinary Alpha Centauri star system, somewhere in the Milky Way Galaxy. Whether this info applies to this continuity is unknown.
